Eventhough IVAO Morocco is composed of one FIR, Casablanca. In reality it is seperated into 5 Centers:

"Casa Nord" (casa north)
"Casa Est" (casa east)
"casa ouest" (casa west)
"casa Sud" (casa south)
"casa oceanique" (casa oceanic)

For now, only one Center is used and its frequency is 125.5, but if the traffic and the number of qualified controllers will increase, we will consider adding another center.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

The IVAO Database contains all the services and frequencies for moroccan airports, and they have to be
followed! Follow this link

You should at least be a C1 in order to Control the center, if not you may get disconnected from the server.

For all concerned facilities: 

-when taking a position anywhere in Morocco, you should be familiar with the airport,
Procedures, and surroundings! some airports are located in dangerous areas and Altitude clearences should be given with caution.

Clearances

you should know the corresponding SID that matches the route, if no SID was filed from the pilot
you should assign a SID if available or direct him to the nearest point to intercept his airway. Your job is to assist the pilot
if he is unfamiliar with the airport. You should also use the corresponding sqwak code for his route using our sqwak code procedure

Note: the digit 0 is not used. Squawk series begin always with 01 and not 00.

Special squawk codes stay the same

7500 - Hijacking(not used in IVAO)
7600 - Communication Failure
7700 - Emergency

 

Flight Level assignment

Morocco follows the RVSM procedures between FL290 and FL410,
You can check RVSIM procedures here, you must follow them in order to ensure a smooth traffic flow.

the RVSM rule is: Odd FL from 000 to 179 and Even FL from 180 to 359.

Make sure you are familiar with RVSM and CVSM procedures. You should also know the VFR FL or altitude assignment.

if VFR, use Odd+500 between 000 and 179 and Even+500 for 180 and 359
VFR flights above FL195 are profibited!! 

HOWEVER the cruising level have to be checked according the airway 

Finally, Morocco is known for beeing a very friendly country, this is why we expect our controllers to sound professional and friendly at the same time.
